I hope I am doing this correctly... if not we will find out. So leaving home is a huge change. It almost feels like I am leaving my life. Originally from upstate New York, I have come accustomed to life in the low country. I have grown up in Myrtle Beach, SC and now the time in my life to REALLY grow up has arrived. It feels like yesterday that I was walking around my high school as a freshman. Now here I am RUNNING around campus as a freshman. The most popular question around would be... " are you a freshman?" I really do miss the beach, maybe not Myrtle Beach but any beach would suffice. I still feel at home sometimes since many of my friends from high school, including my roommate, attend winthrop as well. If I ever do feel homesick I can stay with my sister who lives in Pineville. I am excited though about coming to school. I was ready for a change
